Underfloor Heating is now seen as the best way to heat a room. The heat produced from the floor circulates upwards producing a more comfortable heat and energy efficiency compared to the traditional method of radiators over heating the top of a room in order to produce a comfortable heat below.
It is important that Underfloor Heating is laid properly in order for it to work to its full potential. It is recommended that Insulation Board is fitted to the existing floor first, this dramatically improves the efficiency of the heatmat and will also reduce the warm up time. If tiles are to be fitted then a 'thick bed' method of tiling is used in order for the heat to transfer efficiently to the tiles. If your chosen floor finish is vinyl or wood flooring then the heatmat can be embedded in a levelling compound.
Whether you require Underfloor Heating as the primary heat source in your kitchen or to take the chill off a bathroom floor, I can supply and fit a superior heating system tailored to your needs. The heating systems I supply are of the highest quality and recommended for there efficiency and reliability. Alternatively if you wish to supply your own underfloor heating system then I will be more than happy to fit this.
When looking at the area that you require underfloor heating for, I will take into account the type of room, other heat sources, and your chosen floor finish to recommend which type of heatmat to use. When fitting the Underfloor Heating the heatmat is tested prior to installation, during tiling and upon completion to ensure that it remains in perfect condition.
